looking to buy an Edwardian style ball gown in the uk, or have one made. i want to spend no more than £600.?

am going to a masked ball and would really like some sort of satin edwardian thing, something corsety and gothic but classic!

Try Angels and Bermans (google them or call 118888) in London...they have the most beautiful costumes for hire...a lot of celebrities use them and I .imagine £ 600 will more than cover costs...or you could try calling the larger theatres across the country as they sometimes have sales of costumes...there are massive theatrical hire comapnys in London too, one of the big theatres will tell you if you call their wardrobe department.
