How to get Franklin Half Dollars?

Besides going to a coin dealor and buying them!!!!!!!! Do they have them at banks?

Even though the stopped minting them in 1963 and banks can't ask the Federal Reserve for them they do show up in rolls once in a while. Banks seem to like to get rid of 1/2 dollar rolls so check the banks in your area. It is best to pick one bank maybe not in your area to take them back too if you don't find what you want. That way the banks you get them from will know you will take their 1/2s and save them for you for they don't want them back. I have even found some walking liberty 1/2 dollars in rolls as well as 40% silver Kennedy ones. Good luck.

I have 24 Franklin half dollars. What would be a fair price to sell them for?

The quantity and years follow: 1/1948; 2/1951; 4/1952; 2/1953; 2/1954; 2;1957; 1/1958; 1/1959; 3/1961; 2/1962; 4/1963

To be honest, take the list of coins to either a coin dealer, hobby dealer, etc. and see what they have to say. Also you can go to any major bookstore and look in the hobbies section for a coin value book. (Barnes and Nobles has one called Warmans U.S. Coins and Currency Field Guide for $13.00)

Coins are divided by type, years made, etc. Also if you happen to live in an area with more then one dealer, shop around. One store may be looking for a specific coin and may offer more.

I have 20 Franklin Half Dollars, Should I save them or sell them?

They are not worth so much that you should make a big deal about it. Unless they are uncirculated or scarce dates, their value is basically as scrap silver. Sell them if you need the money, throw them back in the drawer if you don't.

How much is a Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar worth?

DONT SAY 50 CENTS!!!!!!!!!!!! (unless it really is only worth that much)
* it was made in the year of 1962
* has Benjamin Franklin on the front, the liberty bell on the back

I would suggest go seeing a store with antique coins or someone with that kind of knowledge because well, it could be incredibly valuable and it could have no value at all, you never know.

How much is a 1948 Franklin half dollar worth?

Circulated and in very good condition.

It would be worth 4-5 dollars U.S., due to its silver content within a collectable coin.

How much is a 1960 franklin half dollar worth?

Yeah well i found it on the ground and i searched the internet and it gave me mixed answer like one said it was worth $2 and one said it was worth $305
so yeah

A 1960 Franklin half in low grade is worth 7 to 8 times face value for the silver, dealers pay close to the 7 times. In almost uncirculated grade it has a value of $4.75 and in mint state 64 value is $11. The $305 price must be a coin that has been graded by a grading service and is very high in grade such as mint state 67 or it is an inflated price.

I am trying to find out the condition of my Franklin Half Dollars?

I recently decided to sell off some coins I had received from my father. I'm not much into coin collecting, but if some are very valuable I would like to know their worth. I don't know what condition my coins are in. I have a picture of one of them, can someone tell me the condition, with the VG, G method by looking at it.

There they are, I appreciate any help. I know they are worth at least $6 each just in the amount of silver based on present value.

Thanks
no, this is only 4 I am selling here; which is the least of my worries since I have around 300 of these. The same reason why I didn't put a minimum starting bid or reserve price. I don't care on these 4, but for the rest I would like to know better the conditions
