why some plants and amphibians have large genome size than human?
Since the human is most complex animal but not big animal why still there is other amphibians and plants have large genome size,
Note: the human Genome size is 30,000,000,000bp.
Plants and amphibians' genome contain large sets of introns or intervening dna compared to human beings. This is the reason for their large genome size.
These introns are the non coding dna sequences.

Automatic Teller Machines in Marchhareland dispense notes of size 30, 40 and 50 rallods. To buy himself a new?
Automatic Teller Machines in Marchhareland dispense notes of size 30, 40 and 50 rallods. To buy himself a new hat, Mad Hatter has to send a 30 rallods banknote to a factory. What is the largest amount he can withdraw that is certain to contain at least one 30 rallods note?
N.B. Please show all working.
Basically you want to include as many 40 and 50 notes as possible.
We have two options either 1 30 note or 2. (3 automatically allows for a 40 + 50 note so no garuntee)
case 1 - 2 notes
If you add 1 40 note you can immediately have a possibility with no 30's.
I.e., 2 x 30 + 40 = 100 = 2 x 50
If we add 50's then instead
2 x 30 + 50 = 110 no matches
2 x 30 + 2 x 50 = 160 = 4 x 40
Largest in this case is 110.
case 2 - 1 note
subcase 1 only 40's
30 + 40 = 70 no matches
30 + 2x40 = 110 no matches
30 + 3x40 = 150 = 3x50
110 is tops in this subcase
subcase 2 only 50's
30 + 50 = 80 = 2 x 40
no solutions
subcase 3 both 40's and 50's (i.e., at least one of each)
30 + 40x + 50y = 30 + 40 + 50 + 40(x-1) + 50(y-1) = 120 +40(x-1) + 50(y-1) = 40(y+2) + 50(y-1)
So there are no solutions as well.
Thus 110 is the largest you can take out to garuntee a 30 note.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
To respond to the wrong answer above... 230 = 2x40 +3x50 no garuntee of a 30 note.

How do I make my font sizes larger in Lotus Notes?
I use the laptop very often and find that the font size is too small when reading emails and documents in Lotus Notes and would like to increase the size of only the document fonts, not the toolbar. I read the online and help notes, but it only works under high contrast or using the notes.ini file...
is there something I'm missing (sort of like Adobe's zoom feature)?!?
What version are you working with?
You would need to change the template design. Normally only a person with admin access can do this.
Your other option would be to use the permanent pen option in Lotus Notes. Open the help file and lookup permanent pen

Making notes with size limits and scrollbars...?
I will need to explain the title a little for it to make sense:
I have a system at work that allows for the addition of notes similar to any forum. Problem is that the notes are not limited in size and don't get put into pages - they just accumulate and make the page so large it takes minutes for a DSL connection to load. I can't alter the programming of the page as it is not mine, but the notes system does allow for HTML within the note itself.
So, how do I make a note where I can enter large amounts of information without taking up 2 million vertical pixels of room? I basically want the note to have a fixed width and height (say, 400x600) and if the text within exceeds that fixed amount, scroll bars appear and allow for a person to scroll through all the information.
Basically, the note system I'm using is my company's idea of an advanced database so it is really basic. I want to use HTML on some of the accounts that have massive amounts of information so that the page I load doesn't end up being so large it would take me 30 minutes to scroll from top to bottom. Nice little notes with fixed height and width would limit the insane amount of note space used.
You're asking for a solution that will not help you, because you're looking at the problem from the wrong angle...
Making notes *appear* smaller will do *nothing* about the size of the page ("they just accumulate and make the page so large it takes minutes for a DSL connection to load.") - because all notes still must be loaded, regardless of how they're displayed.
If all that matters is to just make them look smaller - ignoring the page load itself - simply place them inside a styled div:
<div style="display: block; width: 400px; height: 600px; overflow:scroll;" >
Your notes go in here...
</div>
This will generate a block of text of 400 by 600 pixels, with a scrollbar; if the notes are too long, the vertical scrollbar will become active.
Again: this will do *nothing* to alleviate the actual page load, so you'll still be waiting minutes for the page to open; the only way to change that is to rewrite the page code itself, and use pagination on the database query that pulls the notes.

College Students: What is the most practical screen size?
I am a 12th grader this year and about to apply for college soon. I understand that a laptop is a not a requirement but more a luxury. I was wondering what is the best screen size for college? I plan to use it as my main computer but am unsure if I will bring it to class for notes. Please tell me if this is practical. I will be living off campus so space does not matter. I prefer larger screen sizes (I am current running on a 20 inch), so nothing less than 14".
As a college student, I was once in your shoes. I used to use a 22" flat LCD monitor before going to college. When I left I got a 17" laptop. At first I figured, I wouldn't have to carry it around often and I really didn't plan to, but I found myself meeting up with friends who wanted to hang out, do homework together, and play games (BF2, WoW, Unreal)... eventually the large laptop become impractical to use. Size and weight were the too largest issues I had with it at the time. The laptop is so bulky that I hate lugging it around campus.
It's been 3 years, and I highly regret purchasing a 17" laptop. Recently, I bought a 15.4" Dell XPS 1530 and do not regret the decision to go smaller. It fits conveniently into my normal bag and is easy to carry with one hand without fearing I'm going to drop it. Granted, laptops have become much lighter than they used to be that doesn't make them any less bulky. My serious recommendation is go with a 15.4" laptop if you ever plan to take it outside your dorm otherwise it'll be a complete incovenience.
Here's my recommendation, if you really what the large screen experience at your dorm... buy a smaller screened laptop that is still managable for everything you need while on the run, but buy a larger monitor for your room. It'll cost about $200-$300 for the larger monitor (assuming your current monitor wouldn't work).
