How do you fix baby silverware that has been burned?
Some baby silverware was burned accidentally and paper stuck to it. Are there any ways to fix them? Also are there any places to get old baby silverware?
I forgot to mention the fork (which is in the best condition of the 3) is colored orange or brown like brass.
I'm a bench jeweler and without seeing these and the fact that paper stuck to them. It seems they melted a bit in the fire, now this could be plating that melted or the actual spoon. If you know it is silver it can be polished and cleaned in a jewelry store. This isnt really a do it yourself project you need a polishing wheel to get the effect of a finished piece, and to get the firescale off.
If it is plating it will never turn bright again. Plating burns and turns black, usually frying itself to the metal piece.
Old baby spoons and such can be found on E-bay of course. Also look alikes can be ordered from jewelry stores or department stores. Places you would make a bridal registy or buy flatware will have baby spoons in an antique design at least.

What is causing brown splotches on our silverware?
We have 18/10 Hampton silverware and Wolfgang Puck silverware. It's good stuff. The Hampton silverware we machine was. The Wolfgang Puck silverware we wash by hand. And both sets are getting these brown splotches.
It probably is your water. Do you have a softner? Are you on city or well water? Do you have a whole house filter? Softner salt can cause corrosion, that's what did my silver in...

What constitutes good silverware and how can I get it at a good price?
My silverware will usually rust in the dishwasher. I think that is because it is not really silver...I would like a quality set how can I accomplish this with on a tight budget,
Find flatware that's made of 18/8 or 18/10 stainless steel. It sounds like your flatware (which isn't really made out of silver) doesn't contain enough stainless to keep it from rusting.
It comes in many price ranges. I got a good set for my office from a restaurant supply and paid less than 15 dollars for a full service for 12. Restaurant supply goods are usually made to take a beating so you know you'll be ok with them using them at home. They're also usually cheaper than stores like Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Walmart, etc.
You can find good sets at Bed Bath and Beyond and Overstock.com as well.

How do you make a silverware ring?
In general I need to know how to cut silverware. Directiosn for any other silverware crafts would be nice.
Well that depends on what king of ring you want for a wood set I would take a piece of wood and put it on a lathe and shape it then drill out the center and paint it the color you want. Black lacquer is always nice. if you want a metal set it will require a little more work you will need to pick out the kind of metal you want and have a tour ch sodder and a ball ping hammer to get it the way you want it. there are other creative ways that are easier like taking grape vines twisting them around and just tying and hot gluing them together, maby put some laquer on them to make then shiny you can use many things, just try making a few things into rings and see how they turn out. Good luck.

Is there a way to remove the silver from silverplated silverware?
My friend cam across a bunch of old silverplated silverware and I was wondering if there is a way to separate the silver from the rest of the metal?
There is some chemical harvesting process. If I had paid better attention in chemistry I could probably tell you. Try asking this question again in the science catagory.

How can I clean tarnished silverware using homemade products?
I have alot of silverware that has been stained over the years. I don't want to have to use anystore bought products because I am afraid it may do more harm than good.
To remove tarnish from a small piece of silver, cover the bottom of a heatproof glass container with a piece of aluminum foil, shiny side up. Place the tarnish item in the container. Add one heaping tablespoon of baking soda, then pour enough boiling water to cover the item. The tarnish will collect on the foil. Remove the piece, rinse it thoroughly, and polish it with a soft cloth.
Remember that fine silverware should be used frequently, not packed away for special occasions. Constant wear actually enhances the beauty of a solid piece by giving it a deep, mellow patina.
Also, as soon as your done using silverware was it in hot sudsy water and rinse it in clear hot water.
Dip polish will remove tarnish from silver, but they will also remove any oxidized pattern.
