Where can i get prom shoes in Toronto???
My prom is in a week and I still need shoes!!!! I'm looking for black or navy closed toe(or peep toe) shoes, preferably in a silk or velvet material. I've checked mall stores like Aldo, Payless, Shoe Company, Sterling, etc. Does anyone know of some boutiques around the GTA in which I can find a pair of NICE but affordable shoes (no more than $100)???
You help is appreciated :)

Should I buy the brown shoes or the black shoes?
I bought a pair of shoes from sterling and they come in black and brown. I bought the brown pair but I'm not sure whether I should keep it because it doesn't go with all my outfits. A lot of my tops are pink, purple, blue, yellow, green. The brown pair looks nice with my gray jacket and beige jackets but then again I don't like wearing black tops with a black shoe. I also really want to keep this pair of shoes because I have a bunion (gross yeah I know) and its really hard to find shoes that fit and are comfy. What do you think? Heres the link to shoes if you want to see.http://www.myspringshoes.com/eng/storeSection/redirect.cfm?sectionID=b2c/style/productDetails.cfm&itemID=67609072&&var=d&ckey=CA&colorid=20
I like the brown shoes better. For that particular style, the brown looks more nicer than the black (at least on the picture). brown actually goes with most colors. It looks very nice with certain green shades, yellow ad even purple and pink. Actually black is not good with yellow and purplish colors in my opinion.
There is nothing wrong with wearing black tops and blues. But it's your particular choice and preference ... for certain black tops black shoes will look nice and for some brown would do as well .. it depends on what kind you are wearing.
I'd say keep the brown ..... But that's only my feeling.

Can one wear gold engagement and wedding band on one hand and platinum on the other?
I am not fashion saavy......I'll let you know that right off the bat. I typically prefer white gold, platinum or silver jewelry to yellow gold. Unfortunately my husband didn't realize this and got me yellow gold for my engagement/wedding band. Not a big deal, but I still like to wear my grandmother's platinum ring because it has sentimental value to me. Is this okay or is like wearing white shoes before Easter ;) ? I've always heard you don't mix the two, but was hoping maybe the person is a bit old fashioned.
I also have a favorite pair of earrings that are sterling silver that I wear but I feel it isn't that noticeable because its not like they're next to each other.
Thanks!
I say go for it. It it has meaning to you, it doesn't matter what it looks like. Maybe down the road, you could always consider changing your wedding set out, i think you can get them dipped too.

Tennis shoes - ( those working at Tennis Warehouse, step up)?
I know I've already asked this question but no-one seems to answer.
I would like to buy some tennis shoes. My budget is £110 and i would like to buy the best shoes there are. I play mainly hard court and astro and occasionaly clay.
I would like the best shoe for hardcourt tennis.
For those experienced among you, I am a baseline player and so do a lot of side to side movement. I have supinated feet ( high arches) and so would like support for them. I would like shoes that are
* Primarily light and breathable ( A MUST)
* As durable as possible.
* Good grip but allows me to move fast off the surface
*Good looking ( obviously not necessary)
PLease could someone help me. I would really really like some help. Thank you.
N.B I would also like to know from anyone what the Adidas CC Feather III are like on hard court. I've heard sterling reviews for them on clay only. Thank you.
Sorry but it is not necessary for people to put a tennis warehouse site on. Sorry if the question came out like that.
In fact if anyone knows any places selling these shoes that are suggested it would be appreciated. I love in Walsall and i can get to Birmingham(UK) pretty easily. JJb and Jd sports simply do not sell any tennis trainers like the babolats and stuff.
I would like to buy in a shop as opposed to online. Thank you. Answering the location of a shop is not necessary to answering the question but is appreciated.
I'd suggest you try the Nike Air Vapor V. i also have high arches and i think the shoes fits really nice to my feet. they provide good lateral support so you can land your feet almost always securely on the ground. they also provides pretty good grip on most court surfaces, and they look really cool.
they cost about USD 115 (£ 58.76).
hope this helps :)

I think West 49 would be the best place because they do have a variety of jackets. Also, there's a donation for jackets, if you don't want your old one, you can donate it and get 30% off. Your old jacket goes to unfortunate kids that can't afford jackets for the winter.
