How can I clean a Sterling silver baby spoon?

My paternal grandmother left me 4 old stearling silver baby spoons. 2 of them lost their tornish, after I polished then a bit, The other 2 how ever the handles are clean, but the spoon or( botton end)looks like its still tarnished,they are a goldish color. Yes the spoons are stamped on the back stearling.
So what do I do?
I'm using silver polish, made for silver wear, it can also be used for jewlery, it just not getting the tarnish bit off. The handles is the only place where to spoon's were ingraved.That came clean after 10 min of polishing.
I forgot the polish I'm using is commercial grade.

I worked in a jewelry store for over 10 yrs and the best thing is toothpaste. Put a little on it and then rub with a soft cloth. You will notice that there is black on the cloth, that was what was on your spoon, then rinse in cold water and dry. This works for sterling silver jewelry as well!!! Try it and you will see.

how do i find the amount of silver in a sterling silver demitasse spoon.?

Sterling silver hasx 92.5% silver and the rest supposedly copper. Would that be it?

If the spoon is stamped with .925 on it, it means that it has 93.5% silver and is 7.5% copper-- so, you're right!

I have a sterling silver gold wash spoon that has gold nugget, what do you think its worth?

it has gold nugget on the handle of the spoon, with Whithorse ingaved in the mouth of the spoon.

You might try an antique dealer, Goldsmith or Gold and Silver exchange merchants. There are merchants that advertise "WE BUY GOLD AND SILVER."

Where can I find a value for some sterling spoons?

I found 2 little sterling spoons about 3 1/2 inches long and only about a 1/2 inch wide on the bowls. Both are sterling and very light weight one has been engraved on the back with 1875-1900 which I figure was given as an anniversary gift and the other has a twisted handle most of the way. I would like to know what the value would be and if it would be alright to dip them in some silver polish to clean them up.

DON'T CLEAN THEM! Take them somewhere for an appraisal as is, with all of the tarnish and age on them.

You could start by checking on eBay. Lots of things like that are sold on eBay, and that's a pretty good analysis of what you will get if you sell yours.

1901 Sterling Pan Amer. Exposition spoon would be worth?

American Souvenir Com. Sterling Pat. Buffalo N.Y. inscribed on back of spoon. Very detailed handle front and back also interfacing of spoon itself.
