05 sterling daycab truck door speaker wiring?

i drive a daycab sterling transport truck. it came stock with 2 6x9's mounted on the cab behind the seat. will there be any factory wiring running through into the doors even though there are no speakers?

I wouldnt bet on it, but anything is possible. if you have a cut out and a speaker grill on the inside of the door then your chances are decent. but if there is no speaker grill on the inside of the door then I would be willing to bet that you dont. If the truck didnt come with power anything in the doors then the easiest way of telling would be to just look between the door and the car when the door is open. If you see a wire bundle there and you dont have power locks or windows then I would say yes you have speaker wires ran. But if you have power windows or locks then the only way to tell would be to take the inside door panel off and look.

Brake Lights on 2000 Sterling Dump Truck?

The brake lights on the left rear of dump truck don't work all the time. Since the turn signal and the brake light works thru 1 wire, does this mean the turn signal on the steering column is bad? Or is there another place that turn and brake light work off of?

where can i find radiator screen for sterling boom truck #8?

goes on outside of truck on front .......over grill .......sterlings the make ......like a semi ...but boom truck .want a number 8

Sterling Truck Radio Removal Tool/ Same as Ford F-150 ?

My comp. has Sterling Truck ( Semi-Tractor ) the radio antenna has been replaced in the hope of eliminating erratic radio on AM . FM is ok . The tool is U shaped tryed metal coat hanger cut and bent to shape but no luck .

If I'd see a picture I could tell as sometimes the makers would put a panel over the radio not allowing the radio removal without pulling the panel and using the U shaped clamps

the tool can be bought for a few bucks at wal-mart and has the proper ends to latch onto the radio clips.. also remember to pry outward from the radio with the tools when yanking the radio

Does anybody know the wiring schematics for a 2000 sterling dump truck or where I can get them?

Best thing to do is get a multi-meter and measure each wire for the power with the chassis of the trucks ground for reference. Make sure it's ~12 volts. You may have a constant power and a swithced power that is only on with the truck. Once you've established the hot, you can then move on to measuring the ohm's (around 4 ohms) of pairs of wires for the speakers.

A AA battery will also help to determine polarity of the speakers, but you have to actually see if the speaker pushes in or out and only for very short tries as you can warp the coils in the speaker with prolonged connection of the battery.

Once you find power and the polarity of all the speakers, your half way there.

Did Chevrolet make a truck called a "Sterling Silverado"?

I saw one about a year ago, but now I can't find anything about them. Also, I would like to find a picture of one.
