Victorian Clothing?

I wear goth victorian clothing, but I have a hard time finding victorian/victorian inspired clothes. Does anyone know any good sites to buy this clothing style? I am very petite 4'11 and I can wear xs-s in juniors.
I also wear a lot of lace

Does anyone know of a book with exhaggerated victorian clothing?

I seen a book once that had victorian clothing that had bright colors like electric blue, reds, greens, etc. If you ever seen Marie Antoinette there was a lady named Dubarry ( King's mistress or whatever) she wore clothing that I am talking about. If you know any sites or books let me know thanks.

Well, during the Victorian Era alkaline dye was invented so bright, bold colors were popular. Plus the Madame du Barry you mentioned lived from April 19, 1743 – December 8, 1793, nearly a full century before the Victorian era.

Where can I find cheap victorian clothing online?

Ive already tried ebay and it hasn't been terribly helpful as my pocket book can only stretch so far. Cheap Victorian wedding dresses will totally work too. Thanks!
By the way, Victorian clothing is anything that ranges from the 1840s about to the early 1900s, Civil war, regency, edwardian, etc...

If you know the style you are looking for (there is more than one style of Victorian out there), try looking in resales. They do offer used wedding dresses that look Victorian and you should be able to talk them down quite a bit as they don't sell well. Once you get your dress, dye it in the shade you want with Rit dye. Or, you can take the top half off the bottom half and dye separately if you prefer.
You can also go to a local theatre (where they do plays) and ask the costume people about what to do. They are full to overflowing of knowledge on the Victorian era.

Question about Victorian era clothing? How did they wear their corsets?

In the Victorian era, did they wear waist cinchers/underbust corsets over their clothing or always underneath? What about overbust corsets, were they ever worn over the clothing or alone as opposed to not having them show? I can only seem to think of pictures of them with the corsets underneath.

During the Victorian era modesty was ever present and well bred ladies wore their undergarments such as corsets under the outer clothing. Any deviation from this branded a woman as being one of ill repute or low class.

Does Anyone Know of a Good Website with Victorian London Clothing Resources?

I really want to learn how to draw the Victorian styled clothing (Men, Women and Children) and I wanted a really good site that gives a lot of pictures as examples. It's for a future story I have in mind, and I would really appreciate the help. Thanks ^^
