How long does it take for a professional to make a Victorian Dress?

Again for my story. I have a character having a dress made for her by a dressmaker before she leaves town. I need to know how long it takes for that type of dress to be made.

Where can I find a well made Victorian bustle dress replica for a reasonable price?

I love the Lolita and Victorian fashions. Instead of buying an a antique dress I'd rather have a well made replica. I don't have a large budget, so does anyone know where I can find a well made replica preferably a bustle dress?

Where is the best place to find a Victorian style dress with a reasonable price?

I'm looking for Victorian/medieval style dresses but within the budget of a teen. Or if you know any sites that have patterns for them, that would be great too. thanx.

This site has medieval, Victorian and Renaissance historical patterns. Not cheap in terms of patterns but not as expensive as some historical patterns while still maintaining their accuracy.

Where can I find high-res pictures of Victorian or Oriental dress prints?

I need pictures of dress prints, preferably Victorian or Oriental, as reference for a project. And I need said pictures to be of high resolution.

You won't find many high res images on the web, unless you look through a stock photo house such as Dreamstime (http://www.dreamstime.com/) or Veer (http://www.veer.com/), but they charge big bucks for the hi res stuff.

Best to go to a public library, borrow the books and scan the images in hi-res yourself. This may or may not be legal depending on what you use them for.

Help with finding an old age inspired gothic/victorian dress?

How do I make a Victorian inspired dress have a large "butt" poof? Is there something I can buy? ?

A pillow simply won't work. Do they sell things they attach to your hips, etc, to make your dress poof in back?

back in those days they used to use to wear something called a bustle. look it up perhaps you can improvise making one urself or contact a costume company.
