Why do some of my Belgium coins have Belgie and some have Belgique?

Some of my Belgium coins have Belgie on the back of them and some heve Belgique on them, why? They look the same so why do they have two different spellings?

Most are right here, for Belgium is made up of French as well as Flemish speaking people. the Dutch speak Flemish and the Walloons speak French. It looks like they started the two legends sometime in the 1800's. It keeps both groups happy but they seem to get along real well anyway. The original people were Celts called balgae by the Romans. Caesar called them the most courageous of all the tribes of Gaul. You see coin collecting is more than just have some money. You can lean a lot from the coins of the World.
