i got a coin from romania it has 5000 lei on it and i want to know how much it is worth in australians dollars?
i need to know for a scrap book if you can please also help by telling me what some other coins are worth from places like france, indonesia, malaysia, greece, hongkong, paupa new guinea, phillipines, kenya, japan, china, sweden, swizteland, germany, america and soloman islands and newzealand.p.s in aus dollars
It's wortless because are not in circulation anymore and no one will change it.
On 1 July 2005, the leu was revalued at the rate of 10,000 "old" lei (ROL) for one "new" leu (RON), thus psychologically bringing the purchasing power of the leu back in line with those of other major Western currencies. The term chosen for the action was "denominare", similar to the English "denomination", to signify not a conversion, but rather a total reinvention.
So 5000 ROL became 0.5 RON = 0.255645136 Australian dollars

Any INfO or VALUE "King Gustav VI Adolf 1965 Chair?
This modern chair is Swedish (Danish Design?) & has Manufacturer sticker Dahlens Dalum (modern sitt-komfort).
There is a metal imbedded-coin stamped with "Gustav VI Adolf" (King of Sweden) on the rosewood arms (chrome base). I found that he had a passion for the arts but details I found are limited to archeology.
This Dahlens Dalum. A Swedish chromium plated tubular steel and rosewood framed armchair sold for £360 hammer

A-Which statement is true about history?
1) In the 20th century, the division between history and prehistory became problematic.
2) There are differing views for the definition of when history begins
3) Historians obtain information about the past from various kinds of sources, including written or printed records, coins or other artifacts, buildings and monuments, and interviews (oral history).
4) All of the above statements are true
5) None of the above statements are true
B-The ________ are the first known culture to actively explore geography as a science and philosophy.
1) Greeks
2) Romans
3) Mayans
4) Native Americans
5)None of the above
C- According to the KOF index, the world's most globalized country is the USA, followed by
1)Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and China
2)Sweden, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Luxembourg
3)The United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, China
4)Canada, the United Kingdom, China, Luxembourg
5)None of the above
HELP!!!
A-3
B-1
C-5
A. I don't understand how 1 could be true. Pre-history is defined as history which occurred prior to the written documentation of history. Since the written documentation of history is pretty clearly defined I don't see how the division between history and prehistory could become problematic.
3 is pretty obvious to be a true statement, as those are the ways Historians obtain information. Seems pretty logical to be a true statement. Though 2 seems to be a true statement as I believe that some would dispute the origin (or beginning point of history), the wording seems to be deceptive and as we do not have an option to chose 2 and 3, 3 seems to be more true then 2.
B. It is very well documented that the Greeks were the first to explore Geography. As a matter of fact Anaximander of Miletus is credited to be the first person to explore geography.
C. This one through me for a loop as the KOF index does nto list the US to be the most globalized country. It actually lists Belgium as the most globalized country followed by Austria, Sweeden and the UK. US is ranked 19th.
